John Amos Withrow, age 82, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 11th, 2006 at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.
He was born October 26th, 1923, at Hitchins, KY, a son of the late James “Jim P.” and Levy Hall Withrow.
He was a retired laborer with Local #1445 of Ashland and attended the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Ashland.
Preceding him in death was a stepson, George Wilcox and a stepdaughter, Daphnie Coleman.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 14th, 2006 at 11:00am at the Malone Funeral Home with Willie Martin and Jason Porter, ministers. Burial will be in the Bowling Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, June 13th, from 6-9pm and Wednesday after 9:00am until service time at the funeral home.
