Lloyd Barry Dale Burns, age 50, of Grayson, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 13th, 2006 at his residence.

He was born January 23rd, 1956 at Ironton, OH, a son of the late Lloyd and Lillian Josephine Abdon Burns.

Lloyd was a Pipefiter with local #452 of Lexington, KY, a graduate of Greenup County High School and served his country 20 years of active duty with 8 years in the Army and 12 years in the National Guard of Olive Hill, KY.

He was a born again Christian.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Charles Burns and Shelby Burns; 1 sister, Loretta Wheeler; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, James “Peanut” and Carolyn Boyles.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 16th, 2006 at 1:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Jimmy Stephens, minister. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, June 15th, 2006 from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

Kathy and Jennifer, I'm so sorry to here about your loss of your husband and father. I just now read his obituary. I guess we were on vacation during this time. Again I'm so sorry. Our prayers are with your family.
