George Clark Jr., 80, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Saturday July22, at his residence following a brief illness. He was born January 8, 1926 in Grayson, a son of the late George Sr. and Ruby Johnson Clark. He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he was teacher of the Jr. Boys Sunday School Class for over 30 years, former owner and operator of Clarks Pluming and Heating, former co-owner of City Florist, a former member of the Grayson City Council, a sponsor and coach of Grayson area Little League and was proud to serve his country as a Marine in WWII. He had the distinction of being the only male in the Prichard High School class of 1944. He is survived by:

Funeral services will be Tuesday 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Grayson by the ministers Terry Leap and Harry Sanders. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Burial Park.
