William Ray Thomas, age 84, of Willard, KY, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 6th, 2006, at his residence, following an extended illness.
Mr. Thomas was born August 19th, 1921, at Twin Fork, WV, a son of the late William Henry and Rose Easterling Thomas.
He was a retired Carter County School Bus Driver for 23 years, a Farmer and a member of the Willard Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 grandson: Shannon Yates; 1 brother, Bobby Thomas and 2 sisters, Betty McDavid and Grace DeFoe.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 10th, 2006 at 2:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Ronnie Graves, minister. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, August 9th, from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
