Mrs. Doris Ellen (Wetzel) Root, age 83 of Carrollton, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006.
Ms. Root was born May 13, 1923 the daughter of the late Leon McKinely Wetzel and Flossie May Watkins Wetzel in Fremont, NE. She was a secretary for Ford Motor Company for a number of years and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Chris and Linda Prais, Carrollton, GA, sisters, Phyllis Rist, Omaha, NE, Marcella Barber, Lincoln, NE, Audrey Faye Adams, Omaha, NE, Detta Helmsing, Pueblo, CO, and Bonnie Gundersen, Carter Lake, Iowa. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Lee Tribsees
In accordance with the families wishes the body was cremated
The cremains will be interred in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont, NE, Saturday, September 16, 2006
