My Dearest Jessica and family,
My heart pours out to you. Alexis is a beautiful child and I know how difficult this time is for you as we buried our 4 year old son last summer after he too drowned. I pray for strength and peace for you at this time.
This is the Bible verse we cling to when we remember the terrible day that has changed our lives forever. It helps us to know that our children belong to God and that they are in His loving arms.
Mark 10:
13 And they were bringing children to Him so that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked them.
14 But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, "Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 "Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all." 16 And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.

Little Miss Alexis Marie “ Lexie-Poo” Hembree, age 3 of Bremen, passed away suddenly Wednesday, June 27, 2007
Alexis was born August 14, 2003 in Tanner Medical Center, Carrollton the daughter of Jessica Hembree and Justin Mitchell. She was a an adorable little girl, was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her mother Jessica Hembree, Bremen, father, Justin Mitchell, maternal grandfather, Jerry Melvin Hembree, maternal great grandparents, Stanley and Hazel Robinson Hembree, Bremen, also surviving are Aunt Mary, Aunt Lillie and Uncle Jeremiah and a host of other family members.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 2 o’clock from J. Collins Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Shea Tallent officiating
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 until 8
Interment will follow the service in Glenn Memorial Cemetery in the Flat Rock Community
Pallbearers include Mitchell Gilley, Jeremiah Hembree and Rusty Hembree
