Mrs. Julie Marie Veitch Smith, age 34 of Eatonton, formally of Villa Rica died Friday, March 9, 2007

Mrs. Smith was born April 27, 1972 in Carroll County, the daughter of Wayne Veitch and the late Joyce Harry Barkley. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Smith, Eatonton, father and step-mother, Wayne and Diane Veitch, children, Benjamin Casey Montgomery, Samantha Joyce Marie Montgomery and Kathryn LeAnn Smith, all of Eatonton, grandmother, Lillian Harry, Lithia Springs, brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Faith Barkley, Buchanan, Gerald and Emily Veitch, Alexander City, AL and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Harry Barkley.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 12, 2007 at 1 o’clock from J. Collins Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Don Rackley officiating

Interment will follow the service in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Tommy Barkley, Gerald Veitch, Jusitn Painter, and Joe Harry

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 3 until 8 P.M.

Please accept my sincere condolences in the death of someone so dear. I remember spending a good deal of time with Julie at my grandmother's house, especially during the summer. I know that she will be missed. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Stormy Mayfield
