Mr. Charles Joseph Smith, age 48, of Villa Rica, died Monday, March 12, 2007 at his residence.
Mr. Smith was born October 20, 1958 the son of Robert James Smith and Adelaidie Korn Smith. Mr. Smith worked in Direct Mail for several years and was Catholic. He was a veteran having served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed computers and loved his Chihuahua, Zippy.
Survivors include his parents Robert James and Adelaidie Korn Smith, Temple, daughter Melanie Smith, North Carolina, sisters and brothers-in-law, Judith Smith, Villa Rica, Janet and Scot Richardson, York, SC, Linda and Ron Bruce , North Creek, NY, brothers, Robert James Smith, Jr. Shirley, NY and John Wayne Smith, Shirley, NY, 3 nieces and 2 nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 8 o’clock from J. Collins Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Deacon Chuck Patrick officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.
In accordance with the families wishes following the service the body will be cremated.
