Ralph McKinley MillerRALPH MC KINLEY MILLER, 89, of Huntington, died Saturday, May 19, 2007, in Cornerstone Hosptial.

He was born August 6, 1917, in Greenville, WV, to the late Luther and Emma Weikle Miller. He was a retired communications engineer with Appalachian Power Company with 30 years of service. He was a member of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church, a gradutate of Greenbrier High School, a WVU engineering graduate, specializing in communication, and veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Force from 1942 to 1946. He served with the 20th Air Force 500th Bombardment Group in Saipan, Japan, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was an avid reader of all forms of History.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lottie Reed; and a brother, Harlan C. Miller.

Survivors include wife of 57 years, Louise Skeens Miller; three daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia K. and Thomas Mollett of Ona, Sandra L. and Claude "Budge" Cremeans of Barboursville, L. Sue and John Workman of Huntington; two grandsons, Jay T. Mollett and wife Amy and John M. Workman; five granddaughters, Kelly Adam and husband Bill, Rebecka McCracken, Sarah Ross and husband Lonnie, Erin Tassen, and Jennifer Mollett; and six great-grandchildren, and a special Niece and Nephew Donna Turner, and John Reed III.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Monday, May 21, 2007, at HENSON MORTUARY, HUNTINGTON, with the Rev. Sue Jarrett officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Friends, may call from 6 to 8 pm Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Henson Mortuary.

Donations may be made to Pea Ridge United Methodist Church.
