Martha Russell Hurns Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1918 - 2007 Martha Russell Hurns 89 departed this life on October 9, 2007 in the Huntington Hospice House. Her loving son Mark was at her side. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl, her son Steven and her grandson Stanley. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; one sister Louise Cottingham of Detroit. MI, 3 sons, Stanley, Darrell and Mark (Patricia) Russell all of Huntington, WV and 2 daughters, Earlen Thompson of Columbus, OH. and Marion Hayes of Louisville, KY. 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, her family, her friends and her church family. A memorial service will be 12:30PM Tuesday, October 16, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Franklin Murphy, Sr. officiating. Friends may call from 12:00-12:30 Tuesday at the church.
