LYLE WILLIAM SWANN, 86, of Scott Depot, WV, formerly of Barboursville, passed away January 7, 2008 in the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. He was born November 25, 1921, in Huntington to the late Elijah Homer and Helena Johannah Sprenger Swann. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Fredith Swann (1992)and Margaret Groves Swann (2007). He was retired from Gould Battery of Huntington where he worked in Sales.

He is survived by two daughters, Kathy Anastasio, Scott Depot, and Karen Davies, Shalimar, FL. He was also survived by three Grandchildren, Kevin and Kristy Davies, NJ , Robert Anastasio, Scott Depot. One Great Grandchild, Jacey Davies.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, Jan 9, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. in the White Chapel Memorial Garden, Barboursville, with the Rev. Mike Rader officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Cemetery Chapel until service time.

He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII, Minerva Lodge #13, Barboursville, Beni Kedem Shrine, Charleston and American Legion Post #177, Barboursville.

Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Shriners Childrens Burn Hospital, Cincinnati, OH.
