Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2008, at 2:00 pm at the Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington WV. HESNON MORTUARY OF BARBOURSVILLE, is handling arrangements. Dear Jonny, I always thought that Gladiola's birthday was Valentine's Day...I know that mother always tried to send her a card at that time...I am sorry to hear that she died...she was so nice and caring...and she had a wry sense of homor....a very rare person....Love,Lenore

Glad was a very dear friend of my mothers, Maxine Nowlin. I have heard many stories of the good times they had along with Margaret Rice and many of their other friends. A few years back Mom and Margaret spent some time with Glad at her house and my mom had a wonderful time.
