Dear culp family I am a physical therapist asst at St Mary's skilled nursing unit and I consider Bob and Pat culp my friends. I have never written to the family of a patient at their passing but I just could not let this go without telling you how much they meant to me. I have worked at St. Mary's since 1989 and Pat was probably closer to my heart than any pt I have had. I know we had her for at least three admits and I consider her and Bob my friends. Only on her last admit did we figure out we were both Fulks', maybe that is the connection. She loved her family, especially Bob and their ending in this life together is fitting. She loved her dog and baking cakes for him. Her attitude in the face of chronic health situations was rare. She was a funny, warm, loving woman who will be missed. She was so proud of Bob and his decorations. I can only imagine the ceremony he will receive himself today from fellow veterans. I know you have heard it before but you boys have so much to be proud of and the legacy you have been given. I will never forget "high pockets" and it was important for me to let you know their are people who work on a little hallway in St. Mary's Hospital who really loved your parents. I pray the grandchildren know as well what quality people their grandparents were. they will be forever remembered by us. God bless
