What a great lady Eva was! I will miss seeing her on Parkway Drive when I visit my mother and being greeted, always, with her trademark "Whoo whoo!" I have so many fond memories of her from all stages of my life.

Ed, Page and Haley join me in expressing our sympathy and sorrow for the loss of our Aunt Eva. She was so warm and caring and we remember her with such love. She shared many a story with us at our family reunions, in Barboursville when we visited in the summers, and throughout the years. We are all deeply saddened by this loss but will remember her with much love.

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Eva and her husband Blaine were friends with my parents, Bill and Janice Walker many years ago. My mother stills talks about Eva. They were nurses together. As a small child, I will always remember her laugh. She was a happy person to be around. Sincerely, Cindy Walker Jolliff, Myrtle Beach, SC.

Eva was a great storyteller. I remember her ghost stories and stories of growing up in West Virginia told with her wonderful sense of humor. I always enjoyed seeing her at our family reunion in Mountain Lake Virginia which we just had last weekend. Rest in peace Aunt Eva. Love, Brad Hunter

To Eva's family and loved ones. Eva is my aunt. My Dad, Jack Hatfield was Blaine's brother. While the two of them were never close, I always loved Aunt Eva. At one time,as a nursing student at Marshall University, Eva was the supervising nurse on a Unit at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was so wonderful to me even though I was having a really tough time (not really cut our for nursing) and helped me so much. I last saw her and Blaine at their home two summers ago and as always, she was so gracious and warm. I am so sorry for your loss but always remember what a wonderful woman she was. Sincerely, Marian
