Leona Roop Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1931 - 2011 Leona Roop 80 of Charley, Kentucky went to be with her Lord on Tuesday February 15th at Wabash, Indiana surrounded by her loving family. Leona was born February 9, 1931 in Pike County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lafe and Mintie James Spears. She was a seamstress and cook. Survivors include her daughters Mary Blackburn and Freda Music, a son Jimmy Music, a step daughter Joan Webb, a step son James Roop, four sisters Martha Blackburn, Cinda McCoy, Lynn Kinney, and Letha Plymail, two brothers Lonis and Marvin Spears, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Homer Picklesimer on Saturday February 19th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Louisa.

Hello, My name is Caleb and I am one of Jehovahs Witnesses. Im very sorry for the death that youve experienced in your family recently. Ive just been sharing a comforting scripture with you and similar individuals who have lost dear loved ones in death. John 11:25 says... "He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." We agree with the bible when it says at Acts 24:15... that there will be a resurrection, of both the righteous and unrighteous.
