Lowman Cecil Bush

Lowman Cecil Bush 78 of Louisa passed away Tuesday May 10, 2011 at the Community Hospice Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Cecil was born September 22, 1932 in Lawrence County Kentucky, the son of the late Lowman F. and Hazel E. Coburn Bush. He addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carol Robertson Bush who died in 1992, two sons Lowman Cecil Bush Jr. and James Russell Bush.

Cecil was a retired heavy equipment operator, a member of the Operating Engineers Local 182, and a member of the Willard Kentucky Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include two daughters Carol Lynn Bush of Flatwoods, KY, and Anna Marie Singer of Louisa, KY; two sons Danny L. (Judy) Bush and John David (Pamela) Bush all of Louisa, KY; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; four sisters Garnett Tabor, Marie Moore, Lois Stevens, and two brothers Gene Bush and Farris Bush.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday May 14th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Revs Roger Jordan and Rick May. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery Louisa, KY. Graveside military rites will be conducted by members of the Lawrence County Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. Masonic services will be conducted on Friday May 13th at 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.

Friends may call after 6:00 pm Friday May 13th at the Wilson Funeral Home.

I cannot begin to tell you all how sorry I am for your loss... i feel like Ive lost my dad tooo... he was always sooooooo good to me and made me feel like one of the family... No matter how much time went by betwen us seeing each other.... I have sooo many wonderful memories of being with you all... I wish i could say something that would truely help your pain....just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all and that i love you all.....

So sorry to hear of Cecil's passing, I remember getting a german shepherd pup off of him years ago and she was the greatest dog, so smart. I spoke to him months ago and he said he had a different breed dog now. My thoughts and prayers with his family.

David, Danny, Lynn, and Anna, so sorry for your loss. Ive been a friend of your family for many years, and have so many good memories. You all always made me feel welcomed in your home and like part of the family. I miss Carol and my dear friend Jimmy, and Cecil will also be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with you all, and i appreciate the friendship of your family. If you need anything at all, please dont hesitate - thats what friends are for.
