Mahlon  Grevenstuk Jr.Mahlon Grevenstuk Jr. 78 of Louisa passed away Friday August 12, 2011 at his home following a sudden illness.

Mahlon was born March 4, 1933, the son of the late Mahlon and Mary Akers Grevenstuk. He was a farmer, wood craftsman and member of the Garden of Hope Church.

Survivors include his wife Willa Thomas Grevenstuk, two daughters Esther Grevenstuk of Indiana and Pam Turbin of Oregon; three sons Mike, Mitch, and Steve Grevenstuk all of Indiana.,

14 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday August 15th at 1:00 pm at the Garden of Hope Church by Rev. Darrell Ratliff and Rev. Bob Messer.

Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

This afternoon was the first time I realized Mel had passed. My sincere condolences. My father "Dutch" Miller was born in Louisa.

He was my grandfather. He was a great man. He did a lot for other people and he loved his family. Sometimes he did not makethe best choices but he was only human and not perfect. I loved my grsndfather very much. He did a lot for me and i lived with him and my step grandmother for almost a year and he protected me from my father his son. i know he loved me very much and would have done anything in the world for me. thank you papaw and i love you very much and i miss you. i wish i could have been there to say good bye. This is not good bye though this is i'll see you again. One day we will meat again in heaven and we will dance as angels among the other angels and with all of our loved one. I love you!!!!
