Judy Preece Parks Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1942 - 2011 Judy S. Preece Parks 69 of Fort Gay, WV passed away Saturday September 10, 2011 following a brief illness. Judy was born April 27, 1942 at Louisa, KY, the daughter of the late Mack and Marie Skaggs Preece. She was the Wayne County Community Center Director. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Darrell Branham of Louisa; two grandchildren Dustin and Tommy Branham; a brother Bud Preece of Ashland, KY; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend Rose Meredith of Fort Gay, WV. She was preceded in death by a sister Carole McCoy. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday September 13th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Richard Maynard. Burial will follow in the Hay-Muncy Cemetery at Smokey Valley. Friends may call after 6:00 pm Monday at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Pamela and family, Your Mom and I were good friends in high school; she spent a lot of time at our house and I spent a lot of time at Mack and Marie's; each time I returned to Louisa, I would always go to see her. I KNOW she was a "light" in a lot of people's life; we'll all miss her smiling face! God bless and keep you. Barbara and Larry

Pam,your strength through the death of your mom let's me know you are definitely a strong person. I have known you and your family all your life and then some. If you ever need a shoulder or someone to talk too just remember I'm here. My children have talked so many times about "Little House on the Prairie that you guys played on the hill when Bill and I were building our home out on 32...I thank you for staying the sweet little girl I knew back in 1978...Take care and know that I love you!
