Everett Gehringer Jr.
1959-2003
Frank "Everett" Gehringer Jr., 43, of Argillite, Ky., died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, in University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.
He was born Feb. 9, 1959, in Ashland, Ky., in King's Daughters Medical Center, a son of Frank E. Sr. and Mary Belle Forbes Gehringer of Flatwoods.
He was a security guard at Rail River Terminal, was a 1977 graduate of Russell High School, was a member of Wurtland Freewill Baptist Church, was a volunteer firefighter with Little Sandy Fire Department, and was a kidney transplant recipient in May, 1999.
Additional survivors include two brothers, Wayne Gehringer of Flatwoods and Robert Gehringer of Fort Meade, Md.; a sister, Pam Hiser of Columbus, Ohio; three nephews, David, Zach, and Ryan; and three nieces, Elizabeth, Kira and Ally.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, at Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup by Terry Browning.
Burial will be in Sullivan Cemetery in Greenup.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today, Jan. 23, 2003, and one hour before the service Friday at the funeral home.
