Warren Lesley Docherty,81, passed away from this life on Sunday, July 13, 2014 in Kerrville. He was born Feb. 17, 1933 in Jamaica Plain, Mass. to Edgar C. and Frances Marie Docherty. Warren worked for the US Department of Justice and retired from the US Navy as a Construction Electrician First Class (1955-1981). He married Dolly Juanita Lee on April 22, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Warren and Dolly moved to Kerrville in 1988 to enjoy their retirement years. He was a member of the VFW Post 1480 and the National Active and Retired Federal Employee Association (NARFE).
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Dolly J. Docherty of Kerrville; children, Donna Lemesany and Clark Docherty, both of Colorado Springs, Co; brother, EE Docherty of Midway, MA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He will be loved and missed by many other family members and friends.
Graveside services will be held 1:15pm, Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
