Mrs. Nancy Bergmann, 67, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014 peacefully at her home.
Nancy was born to Ray Lawson and Yvonne Haggard on January 30, 1947 in San Joaquin Country, California.
She spent most of her formative years in Dallas where she was a 1965 graduate of W.W. Samuel High School. On August 28, 1975, she married Patrick Bergmann in Dallas. Shortly after the birth of their two children, they moved to the Texas Hill Country to raise their family.
Nancy worked as a secretary for the City of Kerrville Fire Department. She retired after 20 years of faithful service.
Nancy loved her family and most of all being a grandmother. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. She was always there to help in any way that she could. She loved animals, especially cats and could never turn down a stray. She was an amazing cook and an avid gardener. Nancy could talk to anyone and never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Lawson and mother, Yvonne Haggard.
She is survived by her husband Patrick Bergmann; brother, Jack Haggard; daughter, Chante Bergmann Dennis; son, Jon Scott Bergmann; grandchildren, Hannah, Christian, Taylor, Lucas and Colton. She will be loved and missed by many other family members and dear friends.
Memorial service will be 10:30a, Sept 19, 2014 at Wright's Funeral Parlor.
