Joyce Virginia Dommert, 82, passed away on July 16, 2014 at a Kerrville hospital. She was born Sept. 11, 1931 in Ingram to Berney Delphia (McGerew) and Charlie Thomas Wootton. Joyce attended the Hunt school and graduated class of 1949 from Tivy High School. On January 01, 1951, she married Kenneth Gerald Dommert, a former schoolmate. Joyce was the administrative assistant at Hill Country Youth Ranch.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Kenneth (2004).
Joyce is survived by her loving children, Rick Dommert of CA, Pam Cottonware of Hunt, Doug Dommert of Ingram and Cynthia Wilkinson of Ingram; grandchildren, Chris and Cole Dommert, Tyler and Nick Cottonware, Briona Dommert; great grandchildren, Rylan Cottonware and Chloe Dommert; sisters, Bernice Wootton and Gay Chadwick. Joyce is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and other relatives by lineage or marriage who loved her dearly. She was a friend to many in the area and will be missed by all those that knew her.
